Supplemental Materials for "The Captopril Challenge Test Predicts Cardiac Structure and Dysfunction in Primary Aldosteronism"
These supplementary tables belong to the study, "The Captopril Challenge Test Predicts Cardiac Structure and Dysfunction in Primary Aldosteronism". This study was based on the Taiwan Primary Aldosteronism Investigation (TAIPAI) registry from October 1993 to January 2023. Patients from the TAIPAI registry who had complete baseline evaluations of post-CCT PAC, PRA, ARR, and echocardiography were included in this current analysis. A total 3626 patients were screened. Among these patients, 1846 had PA, of whom 1034 underwent the CCT. Of these patients, 540 had comprehensive echocardiographic data and were enrolled in this study. One year after PA-targeted therapy, which included either mineralocorticoid receptor antagonist (MRA) treatment or surgery, follow-up clinical data and echocardiography were collected. Informed consent was obtained from all patients prior to enrollment. The study was conducted in accordance with, and with approval by the Institutional Review Board of National Taiwan University Hospital.
