U.S. Politicians Fearmonger About China: The Real Reasons Behind Beijing's Global Rise Geopolitical Report Volume 2 Issue 1
This article explores the growing global influence of China and the fearmongering tactics used by U.S. politicians and media to portray China as a threat. It examines how China’s non-interventionist foreign policy, economic expansion, and massive infrastructure investments through the Belt and Road Initiative have made it the world’s largest economy and top trading partner for over 120 countries. In contrast, the U.S. continues to rely on military interventions, economic coercion, and outdated diplomatic strategies that fail to offer a viable alternative. By analyzing case studies like the Chancay Mega-Port in Peru, the article highlights why nations increasingly choose to strengthen ties with China despite Washington’s efforts to discourage them.
