Winds of Change in the Global Order. Extremism, Populism, and Future Politics

This research investigates the drastic changes that have happened in the global political order in the context of linked causes such as extremism, populism, terrorism, racism, wealth disparity, human rights, conflicts, religious politicization, and climate change. In this process, established political methods and institutions are being challenged and, in some cases, rendered ineffective in the face of these developments, the politics of the future remain unknown. This paper provides a hybrid model to comprehend this uncertainty and the dynamics of change by discussing many theoretical perspectives (identity politics, economic inequality, realism, and postmodernism), while acknowledging that the explanatory ability of a single theory is limited. Furthermore, the ability of global powers to control this process and the obstacles experienced are examined. The research underlines the significance of proactive international collaboration, preventative measures, a new global narrative, and a strategy that takes into account local dynamics, as well as the creation of a more fair, peaceful, and sustainable world order. It should also be underlined that this appeal is more than a desire; it is a need for the future of global politics. Keywords Include Global Politics, Extremism, Populism, Terrorism, Racism, Income Inequality, Human Rights, Climate Change, International Cooperation, And Future Politics
