WARTIME INTERNET NEWS HEADLINES IN A CROSS-MEDIA CONTEXT
The article examines changes in the wording of Internet news headlines under the influence of war in a cross-media environment. News about military operations, losses, and casualties prevail over entertaining and analytical news. Traditional titles are now informative, long, widespread, often complex sentences without intrigue or artistic devices; they attract the attention of readers with their subject matter. Ukrainians tolerate jargon and rude words addressed to the enemy. There are significantly fewer occasionalisms to refer to the invaders than at the beginning of the invasion in 2022.
