COMPARATIVE-LINGUISTIC INTERPRETATION OF SEMANTIC PARALLELISM
This article examines the comparative-linguistic analysis of semantic parallelism. Semantic parallelism is interpreted as a linguistic phenomenon that involves comparing the semantic systems of different languages to identify their similarities and differences. The study explores how semantic parallelism manifests at lexical, phraseological, and syntactic levels, emphasizing its significance from a linguistic-cultural and translation studies perspective. The semantic correspondence and divergence of phraseological units and metaphors in different languages are analyzed, highlighting the importance of preserving semantic parallelism in translation. The article concludes by discussing semantic similarities that arise due to universal linguistic phenomena and cultural influences.
