Data Management Handbook: NASA EPSCoR Snow Albedo Project
The purpose of this Data Management Handbook, or DMH, is to serve as a curatorial tool to a) implement data management best practices; and b) to document decision points as data producers actively manage their data toward data sharing and reuse. The DMH is thus designed to be used primarily by researchers, and to serve as a starting point in opening doors for researchers and data curators to collaborate, critically examine, and document data management practices on a project-by-project basis. As such, this instantiation of the DMH is both generalizable to other projects and written to speak to the specific needs of the NASA EPSCoR Cooperative Award entitled A transdisciplinary approach to assess measurements of albedo across snowy landscapes using multiple sensors at multiple scales, or, in shorthand for project members, the NASA EPSCoR Snow Albedo Project. It is shared openly for community use and comment.
