CoolHormones: an integrative study on how chilling stress influences plant hormonal pathways
Here we provide an integrated and well-aligned transcriptomic resource capturing stable, time-resolved patterns of gene expression during chilling stress in Arabidopsis. The resource is the result of a comprehensive data survey of the chilling stress-induced transcriptomes in the model species Arabidopsis thaliana L. ecotype Col-0 (58 datasets in total). Each dataset was processed individually, retaining only those with sufficient amounts of DEGs. To access the comparability and consistency of the remaining 41 datasets, we performed clustering procedures with PCA and HCA. After the quality check, the meta-analysis was performed to identify the robust trends in the differential gene expresssion. This resource serves as a reference for exploring regulatory mechanisms of cold adaptation, as demonstrated through analysis of hormonal pathways.
