WORKSHOP DESIGN AS A METHODOLOGY PROPOSAL FOR SHORT FOOD SUPPLY CHAIN RESERACH FOR FUSILLI PROJECT
One of the aims of the FUSILLI project is to shorten the urban short food supply chain. For this, it is first necessary to determine the current situation of the 12 cities in the FUSILLI project. Such information is internal to each city and can only be defined by those living in that city. Facilitating and categorizing the transfer of this information can be quite different due to the food supply chain of each city. Standardizing the transfer is a separate problem. Each of the 12 cities where the field studies of the FUSILLI project were conducted is complex enough to be a different subject of study. As a method, the expert workshop structure, which is a sub-method of Action Research, provides great convenience at this point. Each city can easily determine where its own food comes from. Based on this logic, the question of where the food that feeds cities comes from has been transformed into action by us as the relevant work package manager as a workshop structure. This study discusses why and how this Workshop was structured and how it can be used as a method proposal.
