THE IMPORTANCE OF COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE IN IMPROVING CULTURAL AWARENESS OF LEARNERS AT UNIVERSITIES

In the given paper describes the main aim of the topic, methodology and findings of the research by briefly mentioning the importance of communicative competence in using and fostering cultural awareness for the students of technical universities with the help of the integration, which is beneficial for the professional development. As one of the elements of professional image, the paper examines the real directions of teaching communication skills to technical university students throughout the English language course. Within the framework of future specialists’ image construction in the course of English communication, the authors consider the relationship between the general professional competencies of future specialists and the socially significant and personal attributes.
