LOCUINȚA ȘI GOSPODĂRIA TRADIȚIONALĂ REFLECTATĂ ÎN MANUALELE DE ISTORIE DIN REPUBLICA MOLDOVA (CICLUL GIMNAZIAL)

Summary. History textbooks are among the most important teaching aids, which form students’historical and patriotic consciousness, as well as the ability to promote and value traditional culturalheritage. We support the history textbook concept, which inserts, where possible, information andillustrative material that reflects traditional culture. We believe that the presence in school historytextbooks of materials related to the home and the traditional household from various ethnographicareas can offer students opportunities to compare the characteristics of the habitat. It is good to educate the young generation, namely students, in promoting the elements of cultural heritage throughvarious possible means, including in history classes and through textbooks.Key words: housing, household, textbooks, cultural heritage, traditions, habitat.
