A Review: Recent Advances in Novel Drug Delivery System for Intra-Nasal Drug Delivery & Clinical Applications
Abstract In recent years, nasal medication administration has gained much attention because of its high bioavailability, quick absorption, and non-invasive nature. Because of its enormous surface area, the nasal mucosa facilitates fast and effective medication absorption. It provides an effective substitute for oral or injectable methods of medicine administration by delivering drugs through the nasal passage. It is beneficial because medications may be absorbed straight into the circulation and have a quick beginning effect due to the nasal cavity's abundant blood supply. The simplicity and effectiveness of nasal medication administration make it a growing field in drug research for both short-term and long-term therapies. This analysis purposes to deliver a broad outline of nasal delivery absorption, benefits, drawbacks, anatomy, mechanism, formulation strategies, factors affecting, barriers, dosage forms, applications, evaluation, and recent advancements in nasal medicine delivery systems.
