Athletes engage in their activity daily, facing several hazards. Although some dangers adversely impact athletic performance, others result in sports injuries. Numerous dangers are encountered or considered throughout training, but they become evident when they result in diminished performance and harm. When these and analogous hazards materialize, it is too late, resulting in either diminished performance or harm for the athlete. We shall assess the internal and external components that comprise risk factors in sports. We provide a taxonomy of environmental elements, referred to as external factors, and human characteristics, termed internal factors. We shall endeavor to elucidate the subjects under the categories included in this categorization in more depth within the scope of our expertise. The risk themes are located at the conclusion of the subsequent section, where the sources used and internal considerations are elaborated upon comprehensively.
