A SUMMARY OF NETWORK SLICING SECURITY: THREATS, CHALLENGES, REMEDIES, AND FUTURE RESEARCH PATHS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF 5G NETWORK SLICING SYSTEMS
In fifth-generation (5G) mobile networks, the introduction of software networks renders Network Slicing (NS) an essential procedure for establishing end-to-end logical networks to satisfy the different requirements associated with novel applications. NS life-cycle security, inter-slice security, intra-slice security, slice broker security, zero-touch network and management security, and blockchain security represent a few of the novel safety and privacy issues brought about by the implementation of NS. Therefore, upgrading NS integrity, confidentiality, and reliability has emerged as an essential area of study in order to fully benefit from 5G. An exhaustive and contemporary survey of NS security is presented in this publication.
