TU Dublin Research Engagement Framework
Technological University Dublin’s vision is to ‘Create a Better World, Together’.[1] Research engagement is essential to doing this. TU Dublin defines research engagement as an active partnership between stakeholders and researchers in the creation of new knowledge and practices. Engaged research is designed collaboratively with stakeholders, to address societal challenges and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The aim of this TU Dublin Research Engagement Framework is to improve how people in universities work with external stakeholders, to achieve their mutual research goals. This framework is written particularly for TU Dublin staff and PhD students, whether working alone or in teams in research hubs and centres. It will be of interest to anyone interested in collaborating on research to create a better world.
