Geological Event Prediction Using Hamiltonian-Based Causality Analysis

This paper presents a novel methodology for geological event prediction that combines Hamiltonian mechanics principles with advanced causality discovery algorithms to create bidirectional prediction systems for earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. Our approach discovered 980 earthquake causality relationships and 232 volcanic causality relationships from historical geological datasets, generating actionable forecasts with correlation strengths up to 99.9% for earthquake damage cascade progression and 96.3% for volcanic eruption escalation patterns. The system successfully identified five high-risk volcanic scenarios with 95% eruption probability over six months, including one potential VEI 4 eruption scenario with severe international implications. This methodology represents a significant advancement in geological forecasting by establishing mathematically rigorous causality frameworks that incorporate fundamental physical principles while respecting the temporal characteristics of geological processes.
