CAR-T Cell Therapy: Present and Future Perspectives – A Comprehensive Review
Abstract Chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy represents a breakthrough in cancer immunotherapy. By engineering T-cells to specifically target cancer cells, CAR-T therapy has demonstrated significant success in treating hematological malignancies such as acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. However, challenges like relapse, toxicity, and limited efficacy in solid tumors highlight the need for advancements in the field. This comprehensive review explores the current applications of CAR-T therapy, its limitations, and future directions aimed at optimizing this revolutionary treatment.
