Horizon Scanning: Global Research Protocol - Post-pandemic Resilient Communities in Africa, Asia and Latin America
This document develops a common research protocol for the PRESILIENT project to sustain the mix of qualitative and quantitative approaches, featuring a list of major methods that can be used for data collection and analysis, and fostering coherence of the work carried out within the project in different 15 settings in the Global South. The document is specifically devoted to outlining the protocols in research working packages (WP1 Horizon Scanning; WP2 Delphi Survey; WP3 Interpretation and Production), and also in guiding research training (WP4) and dissemination, exploitation, and follow-up deliverables (WP5). This protocol is also linked with the Data Management Plan, although it is a separate deliverable (Task 6.3), and with the (WP7) that sets out ‘ethics requirements’ for the whole project. The protocol provides essential guidelines on addressing the research questions choosing and integrating different research methods using the appropriate methodologies to generate new theoretical insights trough the analysis of the empirical material collected in different settings.
