Optimal Operation of IoT enabled Prosumer Commercial Microgrid Considering Electricity Market and Load Shedding Paradigms

In the modern era, Th demand of energy is increasing to run different smart appliances. For developing countries, various issues still exist in the energy sector regarding energy optimization techniques. For smart power system generation and utilization, an optimal solution is vital. In this paper, an optimal solution is proposed for the commercial microgrid considering the local constraints such as demand response and load shedding. The net metering-based prosumer system is analyzed and simulated in MATLAB for the linear model using the dual simplex method. The Various cases are analyzed considering the different parameters to get the optimal solution. The optimal case reduced the GHG emission and operational cost using the demand response scheme along with the grid unavailability challenges. During the load shedding of the grid, the battery and diesel generator provide the backup. It is observed that improved results encourage the decision maker to install the proposed model for different commercial buildings. Implications: The study's results produced significant insights on the efficacy of the NPTS in facilitating teacher professional development. By assessing the impact of NPTS on teacher training and support programs, this research will contribute to the current body of literature on effective teaching practices. Furthermore, it will provide evidence-based recommendations for enhancing teacher training and development programs.
