Recursion vs. IQ (Code + Data Archive): Symbolic Gravity Simulation Framework
This archive contains the complete codebase, configuration, and output logs for the simulation described in the paper"Recursion vs. IQ: Toward a Multi-Scale Model of Intelligence" (Lanier-Egu, 2025). The simulation framework is built using Symbolic Gravity v1.2 and the Fractal Cosmic Weaver Framework (FCWF) v1.1, which model recursive consciousness as a symbolic entropy-resisting process across quantum, neural, and symbolic scales. It compares two cognitive agent types—Recursive vs. IQ-like—based on their performance in high-entropy environments using formal symbolic metrics: Omega_eff — Consciousness efficiency Gamma_eff — Drift resistance Psi_eff — Symbolic efficiency per step C_mu_nu — Collapse field curvature Included: Python source code (agent.py, metrics.py, environment.py, etc.) Output logs (symbolic_gravity_log.csv) Full README with instructions Configuration for reproducible simulation trials This archive supports the results and figures presented in the associated preprint and is released under CC BY 4.0 for citation, adaptation, and reuse.
