D4.3 – Pilot Factory outcomes

This document presents the key outcomes of the Pilot Factory, an essential initiative within the UNLOCK-CEI project aimed at accelerating the deployment of Cloud-Edge-IoT (CEI) solutions across Europe. The project seeks to unlock the potential of CEI technologies by focusing on real-world use cases that address criticalchallenges across industries such as energy, agriculture, transportation, manufacturing, smart cities, tech & entertainment, and healthcare. To strengthen its supply and value chains in cloud-to-edge computing, Europe must integrate computing, connectivity, IoT, AI, and cybersecurity. This involves developing meta operating systems for the edge that enhance cloud and edge orchestrations, bringing computation and intelligence closer to data sources.
