Identifying and Addressing Radiation Safety Knowledge Deficiencies Among Non-Radiology Healthcare Professionals
The increasing reliance on ionizing radiation-based diagnostic modalities, such as computed tomography (CT) and X-ray imaging, has heightened the need for radiation safety awareness among healthcare professionals. Non-radiology staff, frequently exposed to radiationemitting equipment, often lack sufficient knowledge, posing risks to themselves and patients. This study evaluates radiation safety knowledge among non-radiology healthcare professionals to identify deficiencies and inform targeted educational interventions.
