Safe and effective use of Dupilumab for Refractory eczema in a child with Renal disease

Dupilumab is now a safe treatment option for severe atopic eczema, especially in caseswhere other treatments have failed. There are few studies on dupilumab's safety andeffectiveness in patients with kidney disease, despite known connections betweennephrotic syndrome and atopic dermatitis. The quality of life is greatly impacted bypruritic disorders in patients with chronic kidney disease, highlighting the necessity foradditional research to fully investigate dupilumab's potential in this population. Ourcase study emphasizes the significance of researching the safety of dupilumab inpediatric patients, particularly in light of its recent approval for use in children six yearsof age and older. We present a 6-month evaluation of the safety and effectiveness ofdupilumab in a well-managed case of severe refractory atopic dermatitis in conjunctionwith nephrotic syndrome, and we strongly recommend the development of treatmentguidelines.

We present a 6-month evaluation of the safety and effectiveness ofdupilumab in a well-managed case of severe refractory atopic dermatitis in conjunctionwith nephrotic syndrome, and we strongly recommend the development of treatmentguidelines.
