Elasmucha signoreti Scott 1874
Elasmucha signoreti Scott, 1874 Distribution. Japan (Hokkaido, Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu, Tsushima Island) (Yamamoto & Hayashi 2012), Russia (Far East: South Sakhalin, Kuril Islands) (Kanyukova 1988b). Discussion. Elasmucha signoreti Scott, 1874 and Elasmucha dorsalis (Jakovlev, 1876) are both listed in the checklist of KSAE & ESK (2021). However, Tsai & Rédei (2015) already suggested that all previous records of E. signoreti after Horváth (1909) in most parts of East Asia, including the Korean Peninsula, are misidentifications of E. dorsalis. Thus, this species needs to be excluded from the list of Korean Heteroptera.
