Data and code of Supplementary materials for Biodiversity shifts mediate global change effects on trophic pyramids
Model simulations on how primary production and ecosystem size affect trophic pyramids from an ecosystem and a community perspective. Outcomes from modeling simulation, show the effects of increasing primary production (carrying capacity, Log_10(K)) and ecosystem size (1/consumption rate, 1/\mu_{p_{jk}}) on the richness , the biomass ratios of P: C, and the biomass ratios of C: R. In panels, the value is represented by a mean value from simulations. For panels, parameter K varies incrementally from 0.1 to 1000 in 30 intervals, mu_{p_{jk}} ranges from 0.4 to 1.2 in 5 intervals. Parameters were listed in Table 2 of the main document, except for mu_{a_{il}}. We set mu_{a_{il}} as 0, both beta and gamma were either 0 or 1. The Y-axis and the X-axis for K are Log10-transformed. Simulation_data_meanA_0.RDS contians the simulation data by using parameters related to Figure S8. Simulation_short_data_meanA_0.RDS contians short version of the simulation data for plotting Figure S8. FigS_Simulation equilibrium_meanA_0.R is the code to run model and simulations related to Figure S8. FigS_meanA_0.R is the code to draw Model simulation_meanA_0.pdf (Figure S8). Model simulation_meanA_0.pdf is the Figure S8.
