Toward Sustainable Water Managaement Real-Time Monitoring using IOT in the Water Drop Tracker

Water scarcity and pollution are critical global issues that require innovative solutions for effective management. This research presents the Water Drop Tracker, an Internet of Things (IoT)-based system designed for real-time water quality monitoring. The system integrates pH, turbidity, chlorine, and flow rate sensors with an ESP32 microcontroller, transmitting data to AWS IoT Core for processing and visualization. A user-friendly React.js dashboard enables stakeholders to monitor water quality trends and receive real-time alerts, ensuring timely interventions. The study highlights sensor calibration, data transmission, security (blockchain integration), and energy efficiency to enhance system reliability. Field tests demonstrate the effectiveness of this approach, proving its potential for large-scale deployment in sustainable water resource management. This research contributes to smart water conservation by providing accurate, real-time insights, enabling data-driven decision-making for environmental sustainability.
