THE PROCESS OF ASSESSING THE QUALITY OF PRESCHOOL EDUCATION IN THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN

The article provides detailed description of the assessment process of preschool education in the Republic of Uzbekistan. Considering the very limited amount of the information given on the process of assessment of preschool education in Uzbekistan, there was a high demand for relevant information. The article sets out the criteria for monitoring the quality of preschool education carried out by the former inspection center. Furthermore the description of the new international MELQO assessment system, the history of its creation and previous research in the field of preschool education was presented. In addition, the article describes the key components of the MELQO study and the integration process of this system in Uzbekistan.
