Design and Development of Wind Turbine for Urban Environment.

Now a day’s electricity is most needed facility for the human being. All the conventional energy resources are depleting day by day. So, we have to shift from conventional to non-conventional energy resources. The rapid expansion of urban areas necessitates innovative solutions for sustainable energy generation. This project focuses on the design and optimization of wind turbines specifically tailored for urban environments. Unlike traditional wind turbines, which are typically designed for rural or offshore locations, urban wind turbines must contend with unique challenges such as turbulence, variable wind speeds, and spatial constraints. The primary objective of this project is to develop a wind turbine design that maximizes efficiency and performance within the constraints of an urban setting. This involves a multi-faceted approach including aerodynamic optimization, structural engineering, and integration with existing urban infrastructure. Key design considerations include the turbine’s size, shape, and the incorporation of advanced materials to ensure durability and efficiency. Structural analysis ensures that the turbine can withstand the dynamic forces encountered in an urban environment, including the effects of turbulence and wind shear.
