Frequency-Nested Oscillatory Coherence Architecture for Time-Sensitive Artificial Intelligence Systems
A system and method for controlling artificial intelligence computational processes using biologically- inspired frequency-nested oscillatory bands. The architecture comprises a high-frequency com- putational core (at or above 1 GHz), mid-frequency sensorimotor integration loops (within 5-50 Hz), and low-frequency coherence control layers (0.1-10 Hz). Cross-frequency coupling mecha- nisms enforce phase-amplitude relationships between layers to maintain temporal coherence across distributed AI modules. The system enables real-time adaptation, multimodal coordination, and extended symbolic reasoning through controlled coherence windows and phase-locked integra- tion cycles. Industrial applications include speech recognition systems, robotics, and AI inference workloads, with potential for improvements in latency stability and energy efficiency for time- critical applications.
