Sequence of Emotional Event Processing (SPEE): A Complementary Model to Psychodynamic and Cognitive Understanding

This article proposes the model 'Sequence of Emotional Event Processing (SPEE)' as acomplementary study to established approaches, such as psychoanalysis, attachmenttheory, and cognitive-behavioral therapy. Through clinical observation and thedevelopment of the theory 'The Anatomy of the Soul' (JUNIOR, 2024), a symbolic-emotionalsequence was identified that allows understanding how emotional meanings are formedand how they can transform into behavioral patterns.

Abstract

This article proposes the model 'Sequence of Emotional Event Processing (SPEE)' as acomplementary study to established approaches, such as psychoanalysis, attachmenttheory, and cognitive-behavioral therapy. Through clinical observation and thedevelopment of the theory 'The Anatomy of the Soul' (JUNIOR, 2024), a symbolic-emotionalsequence was identified that allows understanding how emotional meanings are formedand how they can transform into behavioral patterns.
