Cybersecurity and Digital Ethics in Sustainability
The increased dependence on green infrastructure, including smart grids, water management networks, and climate monitoring tools, introduces new security risks. Protecting these systems is vital to ensuring their continued operation and resistance to cyber threats that could disrupt essential environmental services. This paper examines the difficulties associated with securing green infrastructure and explores advanced security strategies such as encryption, real-time threat detection, and incident response measures. By implementing a multi-layered defense approach, organizations can reduce vulnerabilities and safeguard the sustainability of critical infrastructure. Additionally, this study discusses the significance of regulatory policies, international cooperation, and collaboration between cybersecurity experts and environmental professionals to enhance the protection of green infrastructure.
