Key features of the library as a part of the digital ecosystem

The article is devoted to the study of various points of view on the concept and essential characteristics of digital ecosystems. It was revealed that the library as an intelligent system integrated into a higher-level system is characterized by the presence of an information portal and digital services, digital content, the use of intelligent and mobile technologies, blockchain technology, virtual and augmented reality technologies, library cooperation and data exchange, online training and user support, ensuring the safety of digital collections, integration with social media, as well as digital accessibility of information resources and digital collections. The author concluded that the introduction of digital technologies in the library and information sphere allows libraries to provide wider access to their information resources, improve the quality of services provided, and maintain cooperation and information exchange with other libraries and organizations.
