Abstract: From philosophy and spirituality to science and technology, the Indian Knowledge System (IKS) represents a vast repository of traditional wisdom. The main tenets of IKS—Ayurveda, Yoga, and Jyotish—are examined in this essay along with their applicability in the contemporary world. We also talk about the difficulties IKS has in competing with knowledge systems that are dominated by the West and offer solutions for preserving and advancing it.
