SUSTAINABLE TOURISM AND GREEN HOTEL DEVELOPMENT IN UZBEKISTAN: ADOPTING INTERNATIONAL BEST PRACTICES
Uzbekistan is at a turning point in its growth given its growing tourist industry and rich cultural legacy. Ensuring the long-term survival and favorable impact of this expansion depends first on adopting sustainable tourist policies and supporting green hotel investment. This study looks at the experiences of Canada, Germany, and Singapore—countries known for their developments in green construction projects and sustainable tourism—to provide Uzbekistan with insightful insights. By means of an analysis of their policy frameworks, investment strategies, and implementation systems, this study reveals important ideas and practical suggestions for Uzbekistan to build a more sustainable and ecologically conscious tourism sector, particularly with an eye toward attracting and supporting green hotel investments.
