Bruchus attelaboides Drapiez 1819

Bruchus attelaboides Drapiez, 1819. Species incertae sedis. Bruchus attelaboides Drapiez, 1819: p. 46. “Guyanne” [French Guiana or Guyana]. No types were found in 2016 in the MNHN or the IRSNB, which house most of the collections of Drapiez. Figure 5 (Drapiez, 1819, p. 42) indicates that this is almost certainly Caryedes. However, without inspection of the type this must remain species incertae sedis. Bruchus attelaboides: Gemminger & Harold (1873), p. 3220 (catalog); Pic (1913), p. 17 (catalog).
