This article is dedicated to exploring the impact of digital technologies on theefficiency and competitiveness of companies in the context of Logistics 4.0. Theauthors analyse the key technologies driving the transformation of logisticsprocesses, such as the Internet of Things (Iot), Big Data, Artificial Intelligence(AI), blockchain, automation, and robotics, as well as their influence on theintegration and optimisation of supply chains. The article examines the theoreticalfoundations of Logistics 4.0, which involve the use of digital platforms for realtimemonitoring, analysis, and management of logistics operations. Special attentionis given to the advantages of implementing these technologies, including increasedefficiency, cost reduction, improved customer service, and the creation ofcompetitive advantages. In particular, the article highlights the importance of blockchain technology inenhancing the transparency and reliability of transactions within supply chains, and the use of artificial intelligence for demand forecasting and logistics operationsoptimisation. The authors also examine the challenges companies face whenimplementing Logistics 4.0, such as high initial investment costs, cybersecurityconcerns, and the need for workforce reskilling. The conclusions emphasise thesignificance of developing sustainable logistics practices aligned with theprinciples of sustainable development and the UN Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs).Future research should focus on a more detailed examination of the impact ofindividual technologies across various economic sectors, as well as thedevelopment of recommendations to minimise the risks associated with theirimplementation. The advancement of Logistics 4.0 holds substantial potential forimproving business efficiency and enhancing the competitiveness of companiesamid globalisation and digitalisation of the economy.Key words: Logistics 4.0, digital technologies, Internet of Things, Big Data, artificial intelligence, blockchain, automation, robotics, competitiveness, sustainable development, logistics processes.
