EXTRACTION, ISOLATION AND CHARACTERIZATION OF ABELMOSCHUS ESCULENTUS MUCILAGE

In Recent days, natural polymers have played an important role in the development of Novel formulations because of their many advantages over synthetic polymers cost-effective, Nontoxic, abundant available, biodegradable, biocompatible, Eco eco-friendly. So, it’s necessary to explore the knowledge of natural polymers to meet the industrial demand. So, in this current work, an attempt was made to extract, isolate, and characterize the mucilage extracted from Abelmoschus Esculentus (Okra). the isolated mucilage was assessed for different parameters like Organoleptic, Physical, and Chemical properties.
