TACTICAL AND PROCEDURAL- CRIMINAL MATTERS IN THE INITIAL PHASE OF THE INVESTIGATION OF SEXUAL CRIMES
Sexual offences are classified as the most dangerous offences against the person. The implementation of a special protection regime, established by law, to ensure the rights and freedoms of the individual is an important pillar of contemporary legal institutions. However, as a result of the objective truth to be established in criminal cases, the prosecution authorities (both objective and subjective) face certain difficulties. During the investigation of criminal cases, the prosecution authorities are constantly in contact with the participants in the criminal process in order to clarify all the circumstances of the criminal case. They are to clarify the consequences of the offences committed not separately, but as a whole and interdependently. Considering this fact, the relevance of the study lies mainly in the objective need to gain appropriate knowledge on the specifics of investigating sexual offences, including those related to the initial phase of the prosecution of such offences.
