ORCHESTRATING COLLABORATIVE NETWORKS: ANALYSIS OF THE INNOVATION BOOSTER PROGRAMME IN SWITZERLAND
This paper investigates the orchestration of open radical innovation within the Innosuisse Innovation Booster programme to foster science-based, sustainable innovation. Through an exploratory case study involving interviews, participant observations, and document analysis, this research examines the programme's effectiveness in achieving its goal of enabling open radical innovation. The analysis revealed that the programme was initiated without focusing on radical innovation but is now being evaluated as radical. The findings, therefore, indicate significant challenges in fostering truly radical innovation, highlighting the need for improved orchestration, clearer definitions, and extended timelines for commercialisation.
