TELEWORK AND QUALITY OF LIFE OF PUBLIC SERVANTS: A SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW
This article aims to examine how the literature has studied the topic of quality of life in telework in the context of public service, through the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) technique. The Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses method was used to collect the information. This SLR was carried out in the Capes, SciELO Brasil and ProQuest databases, from the time frame of 2018 to 2024, covering the Portuguese, English and Spanish languages and having as its object only scientific articles. Twenty-six articles were examined and, based on the results, five categories were outlined: main benefits and challenges of telework; telework with a focus on gender issues; managers - continuous improvement of telework and interpersonal relationships; hybrid telework regime; and telework and physical and mental health. The analysis of the characteristics of the research corpus was carried out through graphical analysis and with the aid of the VOSviewer and Iramuteq software. Based on this analysis, a research agenda was proposed. The results highlight the relevance of the expanding topic and the need for new research for the scientific development of quality of life in telework that promotes the continuous improvement of public management and the well-being of teleworkers.
