Deliverable 3.5: CircThread iLCS&CA Information Exchanges Quality Assurance Description

The task will provide for an automated backend algorithm tool to ensure that information exchanges are validated. The aim is to ensure exchanges they are compliant with a set of quality standards, to reduce, and where possible eliminate, any erroneous information transfers from taking place, as well as provide feedback that there are errors in the data/information streams. Algorithms to be developed will include unit checks, evaluations of life cycle inventories compliance with data standards formats (ISO 14048:2002; ecoSpold v2) and linkages to nomenclatures ISIC), mass balance evaluations across the product life cycle, and LCA uncertainty evaluations due to different end-of-use routes. The output will be a backend service that can ingest information, carry out the algorithms, and provide for an assessment report.
