COLORECTAL CANCER. COMPLICATION – COLONIC INTUSSUSCEPTION, INTESTINAL OBSTRUCTION
The given article presents the clinical observation of the patient with the colon cancer, complicated by thick-skinned invagination, acute thick-skinned obstruction and spilled serous-hemorrhagic peritonitis. Intraoperative picture, histological examination, detailed analysis of the anamnesis of the disease and a conversation with the patient in the postoperative period made it possible to establish that the primary source of pathology was a malignant tumor of the colon, which caused invagination and mechanical obstruction. Despite the serious condition of the patient upon receipt, the timely surgical correction and adequate postoperative therapy prevented death. Diagnostic and medical measures are performed in accordance with modern clinical standards.
