ASSESSMENT OF ENDOTHELIAL DYSFUNCTION BIOMARKERS (ET-1 AND ENOS) IN THE CONTEXT OF OVERWEIGHT AND ARTERIAL HYPERTENSION
This study evaluated the levels of molecular biomarkers of endothelial dysfunction − endothelin-1 (ET-1) and endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS) − in individuals with excess body weight and arterial hypertension. Clinical and laboratory assessments demonstrated that elevated ET-1 levels and decreased eNOS concentrations indicate disruption of endothelial balance and progression of the pathological process. A comprehensive analysis of these biomarkers may serve as a valuable diagnostic tool for early detection of endothelial dysfunction and evaluation of metabolic risk factors.
