Hadropenaeus modestus (Smith, 1885a) Hymenopenaeus modestus Smith, 1885a: 183; Pérez Farfante 1977: 323, Figs. 9, 44B, 46B, 49–52. Material examined. None. Geographic & bathymetric distribution. Western Atlantic Ocean: from USA (Delaware) to Brazil (Rio Grande do Norte and Alagoas); 146 – 550 m (Cardoso et al. 2020). Remarks. The only record of the species came from Falcón state at 366–384 m (Pérez Farfante 1977).
