Although there are many elements necessary for people to live in the world, the most essential among them is land. Land is not only a place to live or a place to rule. It is a container that holds the history and cultural traditions of human life. Geographical boundaries and cultural boundaries are interdependent. Furthermore, the definition of land includes forests, mountains, seas, rivers, plains, and valleys. The purpose of this article is to study and explain the history of how the lifestyles of the people living in such lands were established in accordance with the virtues of their respective lands. Furthermore, this article examines how this is stated in one of the Sangam literatures, the Natrinai.
