Hypothesis: Unrealized Quantum States and Dark Geometric Structures
This paper proposes a speculative hypothesis: that negative-energy virtual particles, which have not annihilated, might accumulate into coherent densities. Though these densities are not directly observable, they could influence the curvature of spacetime — producing gravitational effects similar to what we currently attribute to dark matter or dark energy. The hypothesis extends to the notion of unrealized geodesic trajectories — possible but unmanifested paths through spacetime that might still shape its geometry by their absence, similar to voids or topological exclusions in a fabric. Taken together, this model suggests that dark matter and dark energy may not be substances but rather meta-geometric artifacts of unrealized quantum states. This paper invites further discussion at the intersection of general relativity, quantum field theory, and cosmology.
