THE CONSCIOPERCEPTUAL UNIT AND THE QUINTIC LEAP
This paper introduces the concept of the Conscioperceptual Unit (CPU) as the Verus Modus of the self, embedded in the ontological system of Ladgrad/Xrealism. Drawing from the philosophical and psychoanalytic traditions, the CPU is presented as the energetic core of subjectivity, emerging through the quintuple leap (ratio 2:3) which transcends binary divisions of subject-object, self-other, and image-light. It posits that perception and consciousness are not separate faculties but unfold as a unified energetic movement, whereby difference and temporality arise as illusions of cognitive structure. The paper contrasts the CPU with models of self from Freud, Lacan, Kohut, Winnicott, and Jung, ultimately proposing a synthesis in which the self returns to its origin as light, beyond conceptual fragmentation. This work reflectes the authors personal philosophical reflections and does not represent the official position or scientific standpoint of General Hospital Varaždin.
