Decisive Bayesian Preference for Loop Quantum Cosmology Based on Four Correlated Anomalies in the CMB

In this study, we perform a multivariate Bayesian comparison between Loop Quantum Cos- mology (LQC) and the standard ΛCDM model, based on four persistent anomalies observed in the cosmic microwave background (CMB): large-scale power suppression, parity asymmetry, quadrupole-octopole alignment, and hemispherical dipolar modulation. Using 1000 simulations generated for each model, we extract observables corresponding to these anomalies and compute their likelihood under both theoretical frameworks.

Abstract

In this study, we perform a multivariate Bayesian comparison between Loop Quantum Cos- mology (LQC) and the standard ΛCDM model, based on four persistent anomalies observed in the cosmic microwave background (CMB): large-scale power suppression, parity asymmetry, quadrupole-octopole alignment, and hemispherical dipolar modulation. Using 1000 simulations generated for each model, we extract observables corresponding to these anomalies and compute their likelihood under both theoretical frameworks.
