Beyond Academia: Unveiling the Social Impact of Science
In a context where demonstrating the social impact of science is essential — from the preparation of project reports and justifications to the evaluation of research quality, including academic performance assessments — a fundamental question arises: how can we effectively measure this impact? This seminar will address the indicators and metrics that provide evidence of science’s impact beyond academic publications, as well as how to obtain these indicators from various sources, following DORA guidelines. Additionally, best practices will be presented to enhance the visibility of the societal return, highlighting science’s capacity to generate real benefits for communities.
