How Trauma Mirrors a Corrupted Codebase: A Neuromorphic Computing View on PTSD, Jezreel Dequina
This paper explores Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) through the metaphorical and interdisciplinary lens of systems engineering and computational logic. It proposes that trauma is not merely psychological pain but a form of internal data corruption that disrupts memory, logic, and emotional processing. By applying concepts such as feedback loops, stimuli as code and debugging, the paper reframes trauma recovery as a structural process of system restoration. This model offers an alternative framework for understanding PTSD and presents further opportunities for recovery pathways. This paper will be offering a unique synthesis between neuromorphic computing, mental health and machine applications.Jezreel Dequina
