Formación continua del profesorado en contextos latinoamericanos. Exploraciones en Paraguay y Brasil

This paper constitutes a preliminary and partial report of the results of the research entitled Institutional Practices for continuous teacher training in Latin American Contexts organised from the master’s in Education of the Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana located in Mexico. Master students from Argentina, Paraguay, Brazil, Ecuador, the Dominican Republic and Colombia collaborated with this research and four of them have already completed their studies. To describe some particularities in the continuous training of teachers in the contexts of Paraguay and Brazil, we select preliminary results corresponding to German-speaking institutions in Paraguay and to educational institutions of a Brazilian municipality. For the study, the research team designed a survey. We provide some conclusions about the training offers participants recognised, as well as the training they have received.
